Position Summary
The Project Engineer - Estimator will work closely with the Lead Estimator and Project Managers. We are searching for an individual that can work in a team oriented environment, willing to learn the fundamental of our business and apply them to estimating, project engineering, scheduling, cost control analysis and operational implementation. The individual should be comfortable working in the field periodically, as it will be necessary at various times.
Key Skills in
- Applying engineering principles and techniques to the solution of simple to complex civil and/or traffic engineering problems;
- Preparing clear, concise and accurate reports and correspondence;
- Deliver projects according the required quality, timeline and budget.
- Assist Estimator with timely preparation and submission of bids.
- Assist Project Engineer in planning, organizing, and administration of projects.
- Prepare unit completion and quantity reports
- Track costs
Basic Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Civil engineering
- Current driver’s license: clean driving record
